These children are matched with an adult companion/role model that can provide guidance and spend time with them, encouraging them to develop their interest and to devote their energies to productive behaviors. Before a potential Volunteer can begin the training, each individual must have filled out an application as well as being interviewed by one of the CASA staff.

Mentoring Children of Promise

To date, we have identified over 250 children in the Imperial Valley who are eligible for the Mentoring Children of Promise grant. We welcome those who have a commitment to children to join our efforts by volunteering just four hours a month as a mentor. Those interested may call 312-6498.
