Brawley police are looking for a third suspect in the attempted stabbing murder of a 23-year-old resident in the 1400
Jesus Delacruz, 20, wanted in connection with attempted murder
block of Welcome Street Thursday night. They have named the suspect as Jesus Delacruz, 20.
Cmdr. Brett Houser said that two individuals are jailed in connection with the attack, which reportedly
occurred around midnight when a fight broke out between the unnamed victim and a group of people. The victim was stabbed 12 times over parts of his body and was taken by family to Pioneers Memorial Hospital. He was later taken to UC San Diego Medical
Raquel Uribe, 20, booked on suspicion of attemtped murder
Center. His condition is unknown.
Raquel Uribe, 21, and Eric Lizarraga, 22, were booked into the Imperial County jailed on attempted murder charges.

The suspect should be found and charged for what he did but God knows that the two in custody are innocent especially Eric Lizarraga they should not be charged with those charges. It was a one on one fight and we pray for the victim and his family. The suspect should be found and connvected and Erik and Raquel should be let go!!!!!!!!

We pray for Raquel & Eric to come home!!! They shouldn’t be sitting in jail for a crime they did not commit.This is false accusation & the third suspect should be brought to justice and do time for the crime he commited.We love you Raquel and miss you so much! We hope you come home soon!
I have the same information that the authorities have, yet I recieved information from one of the victim’s family members that everyone knows it was only the suspect that was involved. Again it was a one on one fight the two people in custody did not even touch the victim. Erik does not belong in there he should be let go!!!!!!

Everyone especially his family is being deeply affected by this. We all know that God is going to bring him home! I love you brother!!! Our family is also praying for Raquel and her family, as well as the other familys that this has affected. I hope that this teaches all of these young kids a lesson, and makes them relize that when it comes down to it, there so-call friends aren’t around, the only ones that are there are their FAMILY !!! There are no friends in reality… Look at my brother, in there for something he didn’t do & where’s his ….. now!!!
I have read this story and it saddens me to know that someone was able to stab another person 12 times in a fight. I have read the comments of the people saying that they should let the 2 people arrested go? I strongly believe if they are arrested its for a reason. These people that are in custody could have done something to help the victim like called authorities or medical help, but NO they just went on like nothing ever happened and that is wrong! So i believe these people should get time in jail. My prayers and sympathy go to the victims familys not the family of these people who got arrested or the guy who police are still looking for.
What is happening with the other person police are still looking for?
Erik did not run and he basically turned himself in because he knew he didn’t have anything to hide….they are in there because no one wants to talk……not because they did anything… don’t always beleive what you read there is always more to the story…and I also pray for the victims family, LIKE I SAID GOD knows the truth and he will make everything right!!!!!!!!!! I also pray that the suspect turns himself in and realize how many people he has affected by his actions…

I also am praying for all the families affected, inlcuding mine. I also strongly believe that every single one of these people are where they belong and my brother when he gets caught will also be where he belongs and hopefully soon. Sometimes I really do wish that it was my brother the one that ended up stabbed in this fight. It seems to me like the supposedly victim just got his scare and then got to go home and everyone is blaming my brother only. Note to all of you that my brother is the only out of all of you suppose to be innocent victims who comes from a good home where the only person that uses drugs and is involved with the wrong crowd is my brother as oppossed to the rest of you who actually are just following the path that you might have been taught. Yes my brother is the black sheep in my family and like someone said, only God knows what happened in that fight. I’m also pretty sure that it is obvious that the person who instigated this fight as well as the one who actually drove my brother into this fight is as guilty as he will be when he is found guilty. Also the people present at the fight who did not call the police to stop this fight are guilty. Maybe a simple call to the police would have avoided everything but since everyone in Wellcome street as well as the victim’s family are so peaceful a fight between my brother and the victim was just another reason to hang out and watch to see who wins and in this case since it was my brother who was in the beginning getting the worst of it nobody called the police. I strongly belive that everything, even bad things happen for a reason. Maybe these stupid kids as well as my brother will finally learn their lesson and know that there are more important things in this world than their so called thug friends.
I have been following this story and I am still asking myself where is the guy who is still at large? Why hasn’t nobody said anything about his where abouts. Im sure his friends or family know where he is hiding. I have not read anything else about the two suspects arrested or if they have been found Guilty, but I have heard that they have been released. Why is this? How can someone been released without any kind of sentence? I just hope that thay are at Peace with themselves and with GOD.
