Children’s Tylenol, Motrin recalled

A recall of more than 40 pain relief medications for children and infants was issued Friday by McNeil Consumer Healthcare, the makers of Tylenol and Motrin products.
The company voluntarily recalled products like flavored Children’s Tylenol, Tylenol Infants’ Drops, and Children’s and Infants’ Motrin are believed to “contain a higher concentration of active ingredients” and may also “contain tiny particles.”
A press release from the Fort Washington, Pennsylvania company said no illnesses or negative side effects have been reported, and even the likelihood of complications is “remote,” although consumers who have bought the medicines should discontinue use of the products.
